St. James: Grady Sweeps, Takes Public Forum!

We’re on the road back from St. James, and Grady, the only Georgia school at the tournament, took home the 3rd place sweepstakes trophy, behind Mountain Brook and Hattiesburg.Mike Robinson and Demarius Walker took the championship trophy in the Public Forum final round, defeating Mountain Brook on a 3-0 decision.


Lakeview: Alpharetta scores big with 3 IE Championships!

GAINESVILLE, GA:  Alpharetta was the biggest IE winner this weekend.  Including Prose/Poetry, they picked up three 1st Place finishes. They are coached by David Gay.
Starr’s Mill, Lovett, Pope, Mars Hill and Gainesville also picked up championship trophies in Individual Events.


Lakeview: Houston wins LD; Mars Hill wins PF; Alpharetta wins Prose

Lakeview: Westminster wins Novice; Marshall is top Speaker

GAINESVILLE, GA: After the one day tournament at Lakeview Academy, Novice Policy has concluded and Westminster finishes on top. They also had the Top and 3rd Speaker in the Novice Division. Westminster is coached by Jenny Heidt.

This Weekend’s Coverage: GDS and Lakeview

KENNESAW, GA:  Georgia teams are split this weekend between Georgetown Day School’s tournament in the nation’s capitol and in Gainesville at the Lakeview Academy tournament.  Lee Robinson will be covering the Lakeview tournament for us.  We are still looking for coverage of the GDS tournament - leave us a comment if you’re interested!
