Woodward Novice/JV Nationals Registration Open

Roy Levkovitz at Woodward Academy has released the invitation for the Woodward Novice/JV Nationals on April 4th-6th. Some important notes:

- The Second Year and Novice Divisions in LD are collapsed.

- A schedule coordinated around the National Debate Coaches Association’s annual convention. The meetings will occur on the Woodward Academy campus this year.

- The LD topic will be the January/February topic–.Resolved: It is just for the United States to use military force to prevent the acquisition of nuclear weapons by nations that pose a military threat.

4 JV policy teams, 2 N policy teams and 1 Novice LD.

what are the quals for novice and jv?

i don’t understand what you mean.

There is no qualification system- you just have to be a first or second year debater. They are defined in the invitation.

Wait, so there is no novice LD anymore?

Novice and JV are combined and then the elims are breakouts.
