GFD Encourages you to Vote for Tommie Lindsey for All Star Teacher!
It takes less than a minute to vote for Tommie Lindsey

Tommie Lindsey teaches Forensics (Speech and Debate) at James Logan High School in Union City, leading a program that is currently ranked as one of the top five teams in the National Forensic League. His commitment to his students goes above and beyond the classroom walls, including educational field trips that he personally funds.
Mr. Lindsey recently created a new course called Life Skills–designed for at-risk males entering their freshman year of high school. The class offers academic tutoring and personal mentoring to address an educational gap in the school district system. Mr. Lindsey has even provided food and shelter for students that fall on hard times or are kicked out of their homes.
A MacArthur fellow and winner of the 1994 California State Teacher of the Year, Mr. Lindsey continues to dedicate his life to teaching and helping students at James Logan High.
