McCain chooses Palin as Vice Presidential Candidate
As CNN and other sources report, first term Alaska governor Sarah Palin has been selected by John McCain as the Republican Vice Presidential nominee. Palin was the youngest and person and first female elected governor of Alaska.
She has been governor of Alaska since December 2006. She was mayor of a town in Alaska for six years prior to her gubernatorial stint.
