Westminster: Milton wins Novice; Northview wins JV!

In a large novice division, there were 11 4-0 teams. Milton High School finished 1st place overall with the most speaker points. They are coached by Jeremy Speigel. The top speaker was Helen Agha from Fayette County High School. She’s coached by Beverly Kelly and Jeffrey Miller. This is the 2nd time in three years the top speaker has come from Fayette County.

Alpharetta HS LA was 8th place in Novice not 9th. Also, there were 20 speaker awards. Please post the other 5 award recipients. Thanks
A couple of things:
1. I am one of Helen Agha’s coaches and accidentally made a typo - no biggie. I don’t really feel that bad - I can personally apologize if it was a big deal.
2. The reason why it displays you as 9th place and not 8th is because a Westminster team actually finished 3rd. Westminster teams were not allowed to win trophies at their own tournament so they were taken out of final standings. I forgot to take them out in this reference.
3. I do not have the packet since they are at school which I do contract work for. I had one of my debaters email me the names. She emailed me the top 15 - which is fine. Remember, we are the only place on the internet you can find these results- 15 will have to do for the meantime :-)
Well, I do thank you for putting this up. I was more concerned about my son who was 18th speaker and will certainly find this site within the next 24-48 hours if he hasn’t already. If you could put up those names, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

the first speaker for novice spells her name “AGHA”
