Lexington Winter Classic Registration Open
Lexington High School’s coach Sara Sanchez released the tournament invitation, as well as opened registration for their “Big Lex”, known to most of the country as the Lexington Winter Classic.
Date: January 16 – 19, 2009
Registration: Tabroom Online. Fees and registrations freeze January 2nd (drops, but not adds, will be permitted until the day of the tournament).
Westminster wins Glenbrooks!
Rajesh Jegadeesh and Anshu Sathian seem to be unstoppable – they just defeated the Saint Marks School of Texas in the finals of the Glenbrooks tournament. Alpharetta and Westminster meet in Finals at Carrollton
In a long weekend of competiton in Carrollton, Westminster and Alpharetta prevailed over the others to receive a qualifying leg to the 2008 Tournament of Champions.

Carrollton Peach State Classic – You Going?
This weekend is the Carrollton Peach State Classic at Carrollton’s school complex. Note – policy debate is now at Carrollton HS, not the University of West Georgia. It’s the usual deal in terms of schedule – policy is two days, while all other events are Saturday only.

North Hall: Lakeview wins 3 IE divisions!
Lakeview coach Gail Ingram has reported some results from this weekend’s tournament at North Hall. Over 100 students competed in the IEs and debate divisions – and we have full results below.

Fayette: Grady defeats Marist in Varsity finals!
The Fayette tournament ended last night around 7:30pm. In Varsity Policy finals, John Holland and Michael Barlow completed their perfect weekend by defeating Marist GZ (JP Zivalich and Stephen Grugget) in Finals. Grady is coached by Lisa Willoughby. Marist is coached by Cheryl Stanga.
The top speaker in the Varsity division was JP Zivalich from Marist.
