Chattahoochee wins JV State; Marist wins Novice State
There were two policy divisions at the GFCA – Junior Varsity and Novice.

Fayette County wins LD State Championship; Pope wins PF State Championship!
This past weekend the GFCA held their State Championships for all divisions but Varsity Policy. We are here to report the results for the debate divisions.
In Lincoln Douglas, Fayette County’s Eric Bogert defeated Alpharetta’s Jeff Simard on a 2-1 decision to be named the 2009 LD State Champion. He was the 2008 State Runner Up. [...]
Colleyville wins Harvard Round Robin!
The Harvard Round Robin has concluded and the seniors from Colleyville, Andrew Murray and Alex Nasr, went undefeated and were named champions. They are coached by Dave Huston. Andrew Murray was also named the top speaker!

Chatttahoochee HS Debate Team on CBS!
The Chattahoochee debate team was featured this morning on CBS Better Mornings Atlanta. Debaters featured in the presentation are Chloe Foster-Jones, Kevin Kim, Adam Kostrinsky, and Kaavya Ramesh. The team is coached by Maggie Berthiaume and Lauren Vevoda.

The 2 week ENDI is June 14-27, 2009 and the “The ESDI” – Emory 4 week Sophomore Debate Institute is June 28-July 25, 2009.

Registration for Woodward Now Open!
Registration for the 2009 Woodward First and Second Year National Championships is now open on Joy of Tournaments. The 2009 event will be held on March 27th-29th. We hope you and your students attend the end of the year championship.
