Georgia teams record one of the best showings ever at CFLs
Georgia teams cleared two policy teams, 1 LD team, and 4 IE entries this past weekend at the National Catholic Forensics League National Championships in Albany, NY. Henry W. Grady definitely stood out above the other Georgia schools by clearing debaters in Oral Interpretation, Policy Debate, and Lincoln Douglas Debate.

Chattahoochee Debate Victorious
Go figure, give the Chattahoochee debate team a contest, and they win it. The Chattahoochee High School Debate Team won the CBS Atlanta competition by a huge margin. I don’t care who wins, but a debate team should win. CBS Atlanta spotlighted the Grady and Chattahoochee debate teams throughout the year, and now they’re asking the public who is the coolest academic club.

2009 NFL Nationals Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum Resolutions
The NFL released the 2009 National Tournament Topics today in Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, and Storytelling. In storytelling, the NFL has abandoned one set topic, and “to allow for maximum levels of creativity this year” will allow any appropriate topic to be used.
