Georgia teams record one of the best showings ever at CFLs
Georgia teams cleared two policy teams, 1 LD team, and 4 IE entries this past weekend at the National Catholic Forensics League National Championships in Albany, NY. Henry W. Grady definitely stood out above the other Georgia schools by clearing debaters in Oral Interpretation, Policy Debate, and Lincoln Douglas Debate.
Henry W. Grady’s John Holland and Michael Barlow reached the Octofinal round in Policy Debate. Warner Robins’ Kurtis Anderson and Robert Walker reached Octofinals in Policy Debate. Three out of four of these debaters are underclassmen! Congrats to the Policy kids.
Grady’s Stephanie Styles reached the Octofinal round in Lincoln Douglas debate.
Grady’s Hannah Mitchell reached the quarterfinal round of Dramatic Performance with her DI piece.
The Lovett School’s Alexandra Hightower reached Octofinals in Declamation
Alpharetta’s Parker Rehklau and Luke Tieslau reached Octofinals in Duo Interpretation.
Congratulations to all the competitors in Albany.
