Lincoln: Fayette wins Debate Sweeps; Lassiter wins Speech Sweeps!
LINCOLNTON, GA: Fayette County won the Bruce Rogers Debate Sweepstakes trophy for the second consecutive year with its entries in NCX, VCX, PF, and LD. Fayette County is coached by Jeffrey Miller and Beverly Kelly. Lassiter won the Phillip Wertz Speech Sweepstakes trophy with its entries in all IEs. Lassiter is coached by David Childree

CAIRO, GA:Â I just received the results packet from an assistant coach and glad to report the following:
In Lincoln Douglas, Sam Strozzo from Southeast Bulloch won in the “round robin.” He is coached by Phillip Oliver.
In Public Forum, Lassiter BT (Berke/Tull) went undefeated and won the tournament. They are coached by David Childree.

Northside: Roswell wins Sweepstakes!
WARNER ROBINS, GA: I noticed I had not put up any of the IE or PF results from this weekend’s competition at Northside. Roswell won the Bruce Rogers Sweepstakes award for their acheivements in the Junior Varsity and Novice divisions. They are coached by Brian Devine.

Chamblee: Alpharetta scores big in all IE’s!
CHAMBLEE, GA: Four IE’s were offered at Chamblee’s tournament this weekend and Alpharetta had the most success.
In Humorous Interp, Parishrut Juneja (Alpharetta) won the championship. Alpharetta also had 2nd and 3rd in this division. Alpharetta is coached by David Gay.
