2009-2010 Policy Resolution: It’s Poverty
Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase social services for persons living in poverty in the United States.
In a 23 to 16 vote, poverty is next year’s resolution. This also matches our poll, where readers overwhelmingly chose it. Read more to see where the vote went by state and debate organization.
